How to measure your Hepcat
Snugly measure your cat's neck using a cloth
measuring tape.  Add 2 inches to allow for
wearing ease.

If you don't have a measuring tape handy, you
can use a ribbon or string to measure, then hold
the ribbon against a ruler to determine the
number of inches.  Once again, add 2 inches for
wearing ease.

A properly fitted collar should allow 2 or 3 human
fingers to fit between your cat's neck and the
collar.  Any tighter, and your cat will be
uncomfortable.  Any looser, and the collar may
slip off, paws may get stuck under the collar, or
the collar may get snagged on objects in your
cat's environment.
Breakaway Buckles
The buckles we use in our collars are designed
to pop open under pressure.  This will often
enable a cat to escape a sticky situation if the
collar becomes snagged on something.  Because
the buckles open relatively easily, these collars
should never be used with a leash. Cats don't
like being led by the neck anyway.  If you need to
put your cat on a leash, please use a harness
instead.
